The crime family at the heart of “MobLand” is back, and so is the cast that made the show a draw. Season 2 premiered on Paramount+ on September 18, 2026, picking up a drama built around a powerful crime family and the people who keep its affairs in order. For viewers who followed the first run, the return brings familiar faces into fresh trouble.

The returning players

Tom Hardy returns as fixer Harry Da Souza, the character whose job is to smooth over the family's problems. Alongside him, Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren are both back as well. That trio gives the season a strong core of screen talent, and keeping all three on board carries real weight for a show centred on a crime family's web of loyalties and pressures.

A fixer makes for a compelling lead in this kind of story. Da Souza sits close to the family's business, which puts Hardy's character in the middle of whatever tension the season builds, while Brosnan and Mirren help fill out the world around him.

A weekly watch

Rather than dropping all at once, Season 2 is rolling out the old-fashioned way. It runs 10 weekly episodes released on Fridays, with the finale landing on November 20, 2026. That weekly format stretches the season across a couple of months and gives each episode its own moment to land before the next arrives. Among them is Episode 5, titled “Birdland.”

The season lives on Paramount+, which is where viewers can follow it week to week. With a cast led by Hardy and backed by Brosnan and Mirren, and a schedule that runs from its September premiere through to the November 20 finale, Season 2 gives fans a steady stretch of appointment viewing: a returning fixer at the centre, a powerful crime family around him, and ten Fridays to see how it all plays out.
